Welcome back to the “summer” term

A Melrose Learning Trust School
On this grey, wet April day I’d like to welcome children back to school for the summer term – the final term of this academic year. I can hardly believe how quickly this academic year is going – it just seems like yesterday when we started the year in September with our extended hall, new classroom and improved entrance. We have a very busy term ahead – statutory assessments for our Y2 and Y6 children, residential visits for Y3/4 and Y5/6, exciting visits and learning experiences for all children and lots more opportunities for parents and families to become involved in aspects of school life. Nest week we are hosting Prayer Spaces in School on Thursday 21st April 3.30-5p.m and I would like to invite parents, family members and members of our community to share these Prayer Spaces in our school hall. I do hope to see you there.  Mrs Swift
