Update for parents – 05/01/2021

A Melrose Learning Trust School
Good afternoon everyone Thank you for your support today in helping children complete and submit work. The work will continue to be uploaded into the school website on a daily basis. On Friday, teachers will be holding a Zoom meeting for ALL of the children in their class. This will begin on Friday (8th January) at 1:30pm and will continue EVERY Friday for the remainder of this half term. Zoom meetings will last approximately 30-45 minutes. Teachers will be sending an invitation to join the class Zoom meeting to parent email addresses on THURSDAY and every Thursday going forward. Children who are accessing the key worker provision on a Friday will still be able to access their class zoom meeting. The Zoom meetings will give children the opportunity to see and chat with their class teacher, as well as being able to see their friends. Teachers will also be able to have a chat about work set throughout the week.  I believe this will have an extremely positive affect on children’s emotional well being during these uncertain and challenging times, and I strongly encourage all children to take part. Many thanks everyone, Stay safe Mr Appleby
