Thank you

A Melrose Learning Trust School
Dear parents I am fully aware of how challenging the last few days, weeks and months have been for everyone. I would like to offer a sincere thank you for all of your support during this time and in particular, this week. Lots of people may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed and under pressure with the demands this week has brought. As a school I feel we have done everything in our power to try and alleviate some of those feelings by communicating regularly and ensuring our children and parents feel as supported as possible. I have received very positive feedback from teachers relating to the work submitted by children this week. As I have previously mentioned, I understand how all family circumstances are different. You are doing an amazing job of supporting your children both academically and emotionally whilst trying to cope with so many other things that are currently going on. I am very proud of all of my staff who simply could not be working any harder than they are to provide high quality remote learning for children at home, as well as providing support and care for those children still attending school. As I said in my update at the beginning of the week, we will get through this if we stay positive and support each other.  Our school is unique. Our school is special. Our children are the best in the world. Stay strong and stay safe. Have the best weekend possible everyone and thank you for being part of the Easington family. Best wishes, Mr Appleby
