Proud Head Teacher moments

A Melrose Learning Trust School
I have had another two proud Head Teacher moments this week – in fact I’ve had many more than that but it’s two particular events I’d like to share with you. On Saturday I accompanied six of our children to take part in the penalty shoot out competition at Hartlepool United. The competition took place on the pitch at half-time during the game with Crawley Town. All of our children tried their best and although we scored some amazing penalties we did not win. What really impressed me was the way in which these six children dealt with their disappointment and showed great sportsmanship towards children from other schools. Their resilience was to be admired. The second moment happened yesterday. All children took part in Sponsored Run around our school grounds. I was delighted to see so many children trying their best and raising money for our School Fund. I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs I took on our web site. Mrs Swift
