October already!

A Melrose Learning Trust School
I can hardly believe that another week is over and that we are almost in October. Our children have settled really well into their new classes and are producing some amazing work! There are lots of changes in school at the moment - we’ve just appointed a new Lunchtime Supervisor, Miss Evans, and are hoping soon to appoint a new cleaner. Governors are in the process of recruiting my replacement - it really is a very busy time for staff and children. We are looking forwards to seeing many parents and families in school over the next few for all of the activities that we have planned. Thank you so much for your support with our first fundraising event of the year- our coffee morning in aid of BRAKE (the Road Traffic Accident charity) and our School Fund raised over £240 – amazing! Our next fundraising activities are both in October – a fish supper (at lunchtime!) in aid of the RLNI and a sponsored event in aid of School Fund. More details can be found on our weekly newsletter.
