Another busy half-term…….

A Melrose Learning Trust School
As another busy half-term has almost finished it seems an apt time to reflect on what’s been happening in school. From “flash mob” dances on our school yard to Sadia from the Durham University Islamic Society speaking to all children in school it certainly has been, as always, a great half-term in school. What has particularly pleased me this half-term is the way in which our children get along with each other – this makes our school such a happy place to be. So much goes on in school each day - I know many parents and family members get a glimpse of life in school when they join us for Family Friday/Stay and Play the first Friday in each month. Thank you to parents and family members who help school to run so smoothly – from ensuring children get to school on time and get picked up on time to completing and returning forms when requested amongst the many things we ask parents to do. This really does help staff to concentrate on what really matters – meeting the needs of our children and ensuring they are happy, healthy and fulfilled.
