An update for parents – 08/01/2021

A Melrose Learning Trust School
Good morning everyone I hope all of the children are looking forward to their Zoom meetings this afternoon where they can chat to their teacher and see friends from their class. Teacher are very excited to see the children and hear all about this week and the Christmas Break. From Monday 11th January, we will be introducing an additional Zoom meeting so that going forward, the children will receive two per week. The meeting on a Monday will again be with the whole class and will begin at 9:15am prompt. The purpose of this meeting is more of an academic focus. Teachers will give children an overview of teaching and learning for the week, whilst providing key points of learning, helpful hints, expectations etc. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes. The second meeting on a Friday will be more informal and will focus on the Emotional Well Being of children. The purpose of this meeting will be for children to chat with each other and their class teacher and have a general catch up on the week. You should have received your invites for the Zoom meetings later today and you will receive your invite for Monday’s meeting in the coming days so please check you email inbox. Many thanks everyone. Thank you, Mr Appleby
