Reasons to be cheerful

A Melrose Learning Trust School
In the last week (which has been particularly busy in school) I have received two amazing emails which have made me smile. The first was from Mr Gregory from Easington Academy following our Inter Faith week activity in school where all of our children had the opportunity to handle artefacts from different religions which were on loan from Easington Academy for the day: I wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed being with you all yesterday. You have a wonderful school community with lovely enthusiastic pupils and professional staff. Thank you and your staff for making us all feel welcome and looking after us. The lunch was great. If you need anything in the future please let me know.   The second was from Rev’d Emma following Mercury class visit to St. Mary’s church: I just wanted to say how wonderful Miss Wiseman's class were this morning. They spent about 45 minutes in church and their behaviour was excellent - they sat and listened and asked really interesting questions - they seemed to love it! We even found some of the children's names in the baptism register and I think that was very special to those children and the rest of the class (who now all want their name in the baptism register!).   Wonderful :)   We are so lucky to have such amazing children and staff – well done everyone.
