Thank you so much to everyone who attended Together Tuesday this morning. As always, it was wonderful having families in school which creates such a unique, special atmosphere.
The theme today was British Sign Language which everyone engaged in, we hope you learnt something new!

Following Our Someone Special Lunch event this week, we were delighted to receive this feedback from one of our parents. Thank you so much for taking the time to send this, it really brought a smile to our faces and a tear to our eyes knowing our hard work is appreciated ☺️☺️
...'I would just like to say a huge thank you to all staff for working so hard to make days like today a success.
It must take days of planning and preparation to make sure things run smoothly. All for children and families to spend a couple of hours together, during which time we get to share a beautiful meal and create invaluable memories.
It is abunduntly clear that the children are Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled and I have no doubt this is because of the time and effort all staff at Easington C of E invest in our children.
The sun was even out which made today even more beautiful! (Miss Ali I bet you sprinkled you magic to make that happen).
So a special thank you to everyone, especially Mr Appleby, for making days like this happen. It is very much appreciated and I'm looking forward to the next event.
The flowers were a beautiful touch as well!' 🌻🌼

We look forward to seeing you all there!!
Yesterday we were so lucky to have Heather visit our school to tell us all about life in Easington and the Miners strike and to show us her artefacts! It was simply an amazing day.
Heather then sent the following message after her visit:
“I had a wonderful time today in ...school, what amazing staff and pupils I had the privilege to meet.
I am so proud to be associated with each and every one of you.
Each year group asked so many questions and were equally knowledgeable about our mining heritage.
I would be very grateful if you could post my thanks to both parents and staff for moulding such amazing children who I believe have been given every opportunity to grow into caring adults and ambassadors for our area.
I look forward to 3rd March when the children’s work will be on display for all to see.

We were delighted to welcome our PCSO's into school this afternoon to deliver some Online Safety Workshops to our Upper Key Stage 2 children.
There were some very important messages delivered to our children regarding how to stay safe online and what actions to take if they ever feel... uneasy or uncomfortable about anything they say or hear.
A very worthwhile session.
Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled.

join.easyfundraising.org.ukREMINDER: On Monday, March 3rd, between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM, we will be hosting a Museum Exhibition at Easington C of E Primary School to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the end of the Miner’s Strike.
Our students have worked incredibly hard to create exhibits for the museum, which ...we are excited to share with the community. The event will feature notable guests, including representatives from Beamish Museum, and the Easington Colliery Brass Band.

We strive to strengthen our relationships with others as part of God's family. We are a place of distinctive excellence where all are valued as individuals. We achieve this by involving our children in a lively and relevant curriculum.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended Together Tuesday this morning. As always, it was wonderful having families in school which creates such a unique, special atmosphere.
The theme today was British Sign Language which everyone engaged in, we hope you learnt something new!
...
Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled ☺️☺️
