We strive to strengthen our relationships with others as part of God's family. We are a place of distinctive excellence where all are valued as individuals. We achieve this by involving our children in a lively and relevant curriculum.

Year 1 had an amazing day at @discovery_mus learning all about the Great Fire of Newcastle.

Our workshop with Amy was fantastic and the children really were a credit to our school!

Please ensure you are aware of what your children are watching and the age rating of the films/tv shows.

Dear families,

As you are aware, we had our SIAMS inspection on Wednesday 25th September. Along with OFSTED, this is a statutory inspection which is highly important in judging the effectiveness of Church of England schools.

The inspection day was very thorough with the ...inspector exploring all aspects of school life. Throughout the day, the inspector also spoke to a range of different groups to gain as much evidence as possible.

Following the inspection, I am delighted to share the final report which I received this week. I am sure you will agree after reading the report that it presents our school in its true light. The inspector was so impressed with the whole ethos of our school and our wonderful children and staff. It was very reassuring that the inspector saw our school in the same way I do - a unique, special and caring community where everyone is loved and valued.

What I am most proud of as Head Teacher of this amazing school, is that what the inspector saw and heard on that day is what he would see and hear on any given day. This is what we pride ourselves on here at Easington C of E Primary School, giving our all every day to ensure our wonderful children are given the roots to grow and the wings to fly.

Thank you for your continued support.
Mr Appleby

That time again, our Fabulous Family Friday at Easington C of E Primary. This month we focused on the importance of EQUALITY in line with October being Black History Month.

An amazing attendance once again, thank you so much for your wonderful support, it really does mean the world to us ...🌎

Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled

A great effort by all of our children at the SSP Cross Country competition this morning. A very tough course and the children all tried their best and represented our school amazingly as always 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled ☺️

Bonjour! It's European Languages Day breakfast at Easington this morning. A Friday with coffee and croissants, what more could you need!! Fantastic support as always.
Merci! 🇫🇷🇫🇷☕️☕️🥐🥐

Some of our Key Stage 1 children enjoyed a lovely morning at the Disney Shooting Stars Festival organised by the School Sports Partnership. They represented our school beautifully and learnt some new football skills throughout the session.

Happy, Healthy and Fulfilled ⚽️👸☺️

💻 Wake-up Wednesday 💻

We are aware that children in school are using Snapchat despite it having an age rating of 13+.

Snapchat is a popular messaging app that allows you to send images and videos to other users. These are known as ‘Snaps’.

One of Snapchat’s ...unique selling points is that messages are normally only available for a short period of time and can only be viewed once.

Please make sure you are taking the time to talk with your children about the technology and apps that they are using to help them understand and to keep them safe!

Very excited to start our @abyyouthtrust Young Leaders Award in Year 1 this half term.

We are creating opportunities for social action and enabling young people to be confident, committed and community minded!

❤️ happy, healthy, fulfilled ❤️

💻 Wake-Up Wednesday 💻
