Dear All,
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time of uncertainty. I am pleased to confirm that the school will remain open from Monday for those children whose parents work is critical to the COVID-19 response. A list of these ‘keyworker’ roles can be found here:

Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home.
EVERY CHILD WHO CAN BE SAFELY CARED FOR AT HOME, SHOULD BE.
If your work is critical to the COVID-19 response, or you work in one of the critical sectors listed,
and you cannot keep your child safe at home, then your child(ren) will be prioritised for education provision.
If you have not already done so, please contact the school as a matter of urgency.
You must contact the school to arrange provision before bringing them in.
As the school will be open please telephone the main school telephone number as below. Staff numbers will be limited and those on site will be dealing with children therefore they will be unable to access emails etc.
To ensure that staff and children are kept as safe as possible numbers will be limited to those who are in the situation as described above. The offer of provision will be that of childcare, with skeleton staff we will not be adhering to a usual school programme of learning. Those who are entitled to this provision, and have contacted the school to utilise it, have been provided with further specifics and details.
Each child, whether attending school or staying at home, will receive work packs to support consolidation of their learning this term to ensure that when school returns to ‘normality’ children are ready and prepared to continue their learning.
Myself and the governing body would like to commend Mr. Appleby and all the staff for their continued support and teamwork during this very taxing time, they have responded quickly and flexibly to the needs of the school, its pupils and the local community with a calm and considered approach keeping the wellbeing of our children at the forefront.
