At Easington C of E, we are passionate about giving our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly. An important part of this is the ‘Start Small, Dream Big’ project that is currently being implemented in school. This program aims to:
- Increase awareness and aspirations amongst our children to the range of jobs and career pathways available to them in the future.
- Remove barriers and stereotypes which limit children’s thinking about their future.
- Provide children forward-looking, realistic views of the jobs available to them.
- Develop understanding amongst our children of the link between what they learn in school and the world of work.
- Increase parental engagement in supporting our children to think broadly about their future careers.
