At Easington C of E Primary School, there is no such thing as failure. From the day children start our school, they are taught to be resilient, independent learners. Fail simply stands for First Attempt In Learning. On entering school, there is a key message displayed which is ‘But what if I fall? Oh darling, what of you fly?’
Through lessons, visits, visitors and residential, children are encouraged and supported to step out of their comfort zone to try new experiences to see what they can achieve. The ethos in our school focuses on nurturing children to take risks and for them not to fear making mistakes or getting things wrong.
